I’ve been an Amazon addict for years, and will fully admit I get a box pretty much every day. They contain SO MANY random wonderful things, haha—like today I got pajamas, palm tree fertilizer, a toy for my niece and nephew and some lightbulbs in the same box—you really can’t beat that mix!
In honor of Prime Day this week, I thought I’d share some of my staples I continue to order, and tricks I love on Amazon.
1. Prime Samples
If you hadn’t already heard, Amazon is now offering sample-sized products for Prime members—for about $2 each. Even better, Amazon will issue you a credit for every sample you buy, redeemable when you purchase the full-size product. So you can try out trial-sized samples of everything from cosmetics to organic diapers, and score a discount if you decide to buy the bigger version.
2. Lightning Deals
Amazon’s daily lightning deals are pretty significant if you pay attention. Located under the “Today’s Deal” tab, lightning deals are exactly what they sound like: major discounts on popular items that expire after a short period of time (usually about 5 hours). Only one lightning deal a day is available per customer, so be sure to check out all the different promotions before selecting your fave!
3. Worry Free Store
Searching for quality all-natural products on the web can be daunting. Amazon now has their very own Worry Free Store, filled with nothing but vetted organic and paraben-free health and household products, ranging from diapers to dryer cloths.
4. Free 2-hour Delivery on Alcohol (and other things) with Prime Now
Did you know that you can order alcohol through Prime Now in some cities? Even better, it’s free to do AND it arrives in 2 hours. Plus, you can also order other grocery items while you’re at it, including products from Whole Foods. I use the hell out of Prime Now!

5. Prime Photo Storage
Most people are in-the-know on Prime videos but this storage is a lesser-known perk of Prime. Tired of seeing this notification? Use your Amazon Prime membership to get an unlimited amount of photo storage with access on any device. For those who are storage-challenged, this one is huge.

Sahale Snacks Grab ‘n Go Glazed Nut Mix Variety Pack
Love these almonds as they have lots of other goodies packed in with them! I use these a lot on my cheese plates. The variety pack has to-go servings to throw in your bag and also gives you the opportunity to try all the flavors!
Nature’s Bakery Stone Ground Whole Wheat Fig Bar
I eat these nonstop! The raspberry and original fig are my favorites. They are whole wheat and delicious!
TahiniBAR Super Seed Energy Halva Bar with Pistachio
My friend Sara turned me onto these—they are a high protein, high fiber, low-cal snack!
Nonni’s Thinaddictives Pistachio and Mango Coconut Thins
I doubt these are THAT good for you but they are delicious. They are individually wrapped pistachio or mango “thins” that are thinly sliced biscotti.
KITCHEN/HOUSEHOLD
Contigo Coffee Travel Mug
I like my coffee ridiculously tongue-burning hot. This isn’t the best solution ever, but it’s the best solution I’ve found. A bonus: the mug stays closed until you press the button, so you can throw it in your bag and go without it leaking.
Premium White Square Plastic Dinner Plates (for Parties!)
We have gotten a lot of questions about these as we use them at every outdoor dinner party. They look nice for plastic plates, and it makes it so easy just to toss everything in the trash at the end of the night. I highly recommend these!
Natural Jute Burlap Reusable Wine Bags
I love these wine bags for gifts, I buy them in bulk to have them on hand. They are a heavy quality and make the gift look really nice and you can dress them up by tying on additional ribbon, bells, fresh herbs, etc depending on the season!

The Original Vacu Vin Wine Saver

My stylist turned me on to 2-in-1 shampoo and texturizer. It adds great texture to your hair if you have really flat or fine hair like I do!
