
7. Slide the baking sheet into the fridge and leave it for at least one hour. After the chocolate has hardened and the ingredients have set together, break the bark into smaller pieces. The bark will stay fresh in an airtight container for several days.
Go for fresh Medjool dates that are soft and plump. Older dates tend to be drier and won’t provide the desired chewy texture. They need to be juicy and pliable to squish down into a smooth base layer.
