The Orient Express is Coming to the Italian Riviera
The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, now operated by Belmond (my favorite hotel group!), unveiled a Paris to Portofino itinerary. It will start in Paris, wind through France past Dijon, Lyon and Avignon, and then trundle along the Côte d’Azur, before crossing into Italy. Prices are steep, but this being Belmond, you do get a lot of swank for your buck.

Look at science confirming what we already knew, which is that eating a big bowl of pasta can make you feel better. This is according to a study conducted by an Italian university that showed eating pasta performed best at generating positive emotions. Duh!
