Wine Ed with a View

The article highlights oh-so-fabulous places around the world to study wine, from beginner workshops to expert somm certifications. These programs offer hands-on learning in some amazing wine regions like Provence, Porto and Barcelona. I am seriously considering another certification!!

Parisian Luxury in NYC

Can’t wait for this one! The iconic French department store Printemps is making its New York debut, bringing opulent Art Deco and Art Nouveau details—plus its legendary Red Room. The space features multiple dining spots, including a champagne bar and a fine-dining restaurant by chef Gregory Gourdet. Get ready for a next-level shopping and dining experience!

Nordic Utopia: A Travel Guide

Finland, named the happiest country in the world for eight years running, credits its joy to nature, strong community support, and a resilient mindset. Wallpaper’s guide to Finland — stylish hotels, architecturally inspired restaurants, and the country’s rich cultural scene.

Move Over, Marfa

El Paso, Texas, is emerging as a vibrant art destination, attracting enthusiasts beyond the well-known Marfa scene. With the completion of their Downtown Arts District, Paso is hoping to tap into the buzzy type of art tourism that Marfa attracts — and convince the glitterati and gallerists flying in from New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.

Travel-Worthy Art Exhibits

Must-see exhibits in 2025! Whether David Hockney’s artwork in Paris, Vermeer in New York, or Ruth Asawa In San Francisco — these are the best shows to build a trip around.

Shortcut Through U.S. Customs

Some airports let you skip the customs line when arriving in the U.S. I first noticed this returning from Bermuda, but didn’t know what it was! It’s U.S. Customs Preclearance that allows travelers to clear customs and security before boarding vs after landing, making arrival in the U.S. seamless.

Snack Your Way to Better Health

This is good news for just about everyone! The article highlights how short bursts of movement — aka “exercise snacks” — can make a big difference in your health, even if they’re just 30 seconds to 10 minutes long.

Hope you’re having a fantastic Sunday — enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hi Bree, I’m note sure if you met our nephew, Andrew House, when he was here in CLT going to JWU. He is now a som at Printemps! He is pictured in the article.
