What I’m Packing // Napa Valley

I'm so(ooo) excited to be heading to Napa for a long weekend! Here's what I'm taking with me...

Hi everyone! I’m so(ooo) excited to be heading to Napa for a long weekend!  I am going to meet up with a few of my girlfriends that I became friends with during the time we all lived in LA. We are going to do lots of laughing, lots of eating, and of course, as much wine tasting as we can possibly pack in. Of all things, there is a 100% chance of rain the whole time I’m there. 😓 And it’s going to be kind of cold! So I know lots of you are in sunny weather right now, but given that there WAS snow in NYC this week, I thought I’d still share what I’m packing…

Paige Farfalla Top
First up, this top pictured below is so cute in person! It’s really lightweight, in a casual cotton fabric. It’s got some light fluttery layers at the neck. I definitely plan on taking this with me!

Transcend Gray Jeans
I absolutely love gray jeans! These are one of the things I reach for all the time in my closet…they are just different enough from regular jeans to add a little something to an outfit.

Signet Tote in Italian Leather
This is a great tote for year-round. The leather has a nice texture to it, which you can see better below.

Madewell Slingback Mules
Ok, I’m sure you’ll be seeing these shoes a lot from me because I’m really excited about them. I’ve included another picture below. It’s pretty cool how you can wear the little strap in the front as a mule, or in the back as a slingback! These come in black, also.

Amuse Society Tie Waist Dress
Next up is this new dress by this brand that I’m loving lately. They have it at my go-to, Nordstrom, and also at Revolve clothing which also I shop at frequently.

See by Chloé Crossbody
The crossbody bag is the way to go when wine-tasting so your hands are free. Let’s hope I don’t spill wine on this one! (update, this color just sold out – others here, here,  here or here.)

Rails Plaid Shirt
If you have never tried them, Rails button-down shirts are the absolute softest! I like that this one is in pretty spring colors.

Tartan Boyfriend Shirt
Another soft, roomy flannel that I wear all the time! Given the weather, this is definitely coming with me…

L’Amour Sweater
A cute, light sweater to pair with jeans.

Sport Tee
…And an easy tee to pair with jeans and sneakers.

Oil Wash Cutout Tee
I just got this and it’s super cute on!! It comes in a bunch of other colors and I think I might order it in a second shade for myself.

Cherelle Minidress
The fit on this one is really great, and it has a fun little constellation print!

Necklace
I always have a couple of long necklaces in my jewelry bag. This is one I love from Madewell. You can wear it with the knot high like shown here, or at the bottom of the necklace.

Oval Disc Cascade Earring
Taking these fun earrings to pair with a couple of dresses above.

Clutch
Feeding my clutch problem and my tassel problem in one fell swoop – how adorable is this?

I’m excited to try some new places in wine country. I’ll do a full post on the trip when I return to share any good recommendations with you guys. If anyone has any good recs (especially around Calistoga), I’d love to hear them!

Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

I love those oil wash tees! I need one. I also love the constellation dress. Have you checked out the brand RIXO London? I want everything from them right now… https://www.shopbop.com/rixo-london/br/v=1/52032.htm
    So sad about the rain!

Ooh, I’ll have to check out RIXO London – thanks for the tip!

  2. I am SO GLAD that you posted this! Honestly, I’m headed out to Sonoma/Napa again this June for my birthday, and I specifically clicked over to your blog today to see if you’d written anything about wine country, so this is PERFECT! Can’t wait to read your full post when you get back.

    Some of my top picks:
    1. Ehler’s Estate – do the “start your day tasting” at this one, you’ll love the Bohemian vibe here, plus they serve you croissants from Bouchon Bakery!

    2. Nick’s Cove – if you can make it out to this place along the PCH, it’s tucked down in a beautiful cove. They have a great wine list & delicious oysters. There’s a pier that attaches to the restaurant that stretches out over the water and you can dine out here, they’ll call you on the little telephone in the pier dining shack and tell you that your food is ready! Great views.

    3. Darioush Winery – LOVE the wine here, and the Persian vibes give the entire place an awesome beauty that we really enjoyed.

    HAVE A GREAT TIME!

    XOxo

THANK YOU! And thanks for the awesome comments and suggestions, Emily !! I’m definitely going to add them to my list…I’ll do my full recap later this week and you are going to LOVE the new mid-mod winery by Darioush’s son. You have to check it out when there for your birthday!
