Happy Sunday! Here’s my latest roundup in wine, food, lifestyle, design and travel.

Be Glad You’re Eating Organic
Given that it’s used everywhere, it’s no surprise that Roundup — the world’s most widely used weedkiller — shows up in our bodies. What is perhaps surprising is how easy it is to get it out. A new study shows that switching to an organic diet decreased levels of Roundup’s toxic main ingredient, glyphosate, by 70% in just six days.

Apple Wants to Make You Sweat
Alongside news of other subscription bundle releases, new reports say Apple will release a virtual subscription fitness service that keys into their products — the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Apple TV. This will mimic similar products on the market from Peloton and Nike.

A Newly Named Sonoma AVA
One of the most distinctive areas of vineyards in the Sonoma Coast—a narrow north-south strip hugging the actual coastline — with acclaimed vineyards Flowers, Joseph Phelps, Hisch, Peay and more — has had no identity of its own. Soon, though, this chilly, remote, rugged strip of a region will have its own named AVA — the West Sonoma Coast.

Sleep in a Hotel Bed Every Night
Kimpton, Ritz-Carlton, J.W. Marriott and more — this link contains the best in hotel amenities that you can order from home! I went deep on this article, and may or may no have made several purchases. There’s not much better than a hotel bed!

Get a Drink Through A Wine Window
In Florence, the coronavirus pandemic has brought back the nearly 400-year-old tradition of socially distanced drink service through wine windows! I thought this was so charming. At the same time, it made me desperately want to go to Italy!

Swim in a Pool in the Middle of Paris
How fun is this floating pool named after Parisian dancer Josephine Baker, moored in the 13th arrondissement in Paris? Here, you can technically swim in the Seine — in ultra-clean river water, no less. And through it, you can find a brief, mini-vacation right in the heart of the city.

Gorgeous U.S. Olive Oil Orchards
In light of stories highlighting the health hazards of adulterated extra virgin olive oil—from a 60 Minutes exposé to author Tom Mueller’s book Extra Virginity—many Americans have started sourcing their olive oil domestically. Here are nine orchards in the U.S. that make their own EVOO and are gorgeous getaways, too.
Cheers to a wonderful rest of your weekend!
