Happy Sunday! Here’s my latest roundup in wine, food, lifestyle, design and travel.

Visit the Best Looking Storage Unit Ever

Most of the world’s art institutions only have space to exhibit a fraction of their collections, with the majority of the art locked away out of the public eye. Rotterdam’s Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is changing that. It’s building a gleaming, mirror-coated new depot—a work of art in itself—that will be open to the public and show a collection of 151,000 stored pieces.

Deciphering 5-Star Hotel Ratings

With so many things to consider, hotel rankings can be very confusing. This article helps to eliminate some of that clutter to help you understand what differentiates an average hotel from a five-star property, and how some of the most popular booking sites and travel organizations define a five-star hotel.

Visit (or Move to?!) The Happiest State in the U.S.

Hawaii is known for its gorgeous weather and beaches. Now, it can add another accolade to its list—it’s the nation’s happiest state, according to a new study. See where your state ranks!

Covet This Modernist Retreat in Cabo

A boldly geometric getaway that nods to its stunning setting in Los Cabos. This modernist retreat just made me happy to look at. I can’t wait for vacations like this again!

See Red, Everywhere

Panjin, in China, is home to the stunning Red Beach — but contrary to the name, there is no sand here. The region is situated in one of the biggest wetlands in the world, which turns a magical red color every autumn, due to the seaweed species that grows there. How gorgeous!

Digitally Interact with Art

On virtual view now until October 15th is Mary Little’s Reflections, a digital exhibition that presents a personal selection of her signature textile pieces that interact with light and gravity. Visit Little’s site HERE to tour the show!

Charred Vines & Broken Dreams

It goes without saying that the fires in California wine country are just devastating. Vintners remain dedicated to salvaging what they can and rebuilding what’s been lost, although many will suffer a complete loss of their 2020 harvest. Please keep Cali in your thoughts and prayers.

Cheers to a wonderful rest of your weekend…
