Some creative ways to gift – without leaving your couch!

Whether you are last-minute or just prefer to be a virtual shopper, here are some creative ways to show how how much someone means to you – without leaving your couch!

Plant Happiness

Indoor plantsΒ have been shown toΒ boost moods, increase creativity, reduce stress, and after this year, nothing sounds better than that! Try the Sill for many great plant options!Β

A MasterClass

Some of the world’s best in comedy, photography, filmmaking, cooking, and more are sharing the art of their craft. This streaming platform offers videos from these creators that you can watch to learn more. Right now, if you buy one annual membership, you’ll get one free.

Virtually Adopt Your Favorite Animal

TheΒ World Wildlife FundΒ now lets you symbolically adopt an animal as a part of their ongoing efforts to save endangered species’ from around the globe. I just did this – there are many adorable animals to choose from!

Socks of the Month

With Society Socks, they’ll get two pairs of bold, funky, and stylish socks delivered monthly. And best of all, with each pair they receive, a pair will be donated to charity.

Cheese of Month

Send cheese – always a welcome gift in my book! Murray’s will send 3-4 approachable and iconic cheeses to please any palate.Β You can sign up monthly, or for up to a year.

Book of the Month

Early releases, vetted quality, and way cheaper than buying books. Plus, a subscription gets you excited to read, so you might actually do more of it!

Virtual Gym

Gift the next best thing to a gym membership by paying for a virtual gym subscription.Β ClassPass has taken things online with over 2,000 live and on-demand workout classes from instructors across the country, with options ranging from yoga to HIIT and everything in between.

Interior Design Styling

Help spruce up their space! This gift fromΒ ModsyΒ pairs the gift recipient with an expert interior designer to bring their design dreams to reality. You can choose from single or multi-room packages.

A Streaming Service

Give the gift of a membershipΒ to HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu, or Netflix – endless pandemic entertainment! (I’d know!)

Somm Wine Delivery

Last but not least. If you’re looking for an easy entry into the wine-subscription world, or want to cultivate some basic wine knowledge, this is a great service. SommSelect is curated by masterΒ sommelierΒ Ian Cauble, whom you may recognize from Netflix’s documentaryΒ Somm. Each delivery is themed – one might have wines that highlight a specific growing region, while another might include wines that explore a grape variety.

Other ideas? A magazine subscription, Audible, or Rossetta Stone. If all else fails, send them a bottle of wine and local dinner delivery via DoorDash!

Happy Shopping!

Also, we did Modsy for our “loft” space early on in COVID and COULDN’T BE HAPPIER. It was a pretty complicated space and it turned out absolutely beautifully! I want to use them for every room in the house now! xo
