Happy weekend, friends! The coziest winter hotels, a peek inside the world’s skinniest skyscraper, and how to stay on your health goals for January. Hope you enjoy this Sunday scroll in wine, food, lifestyle, design and travel.

Coziest Winter Hotels
If you’re the type that opts for maximum coziness (like me!), this winter hotels list is for you. With firepits and comfort-minded interiors, the best hideaways to embrace the chill this winter.

Floating Pleasure Palace
A look into Ovation by Seabourn, which is a dreamy cruise line. Despite it’s gigayacht size, this ship is incredibly private with only 300 cabins. All about the spa, suite host, caviar service, and other luxury amenities on this boat.

Worlds’s Skinniest Skyscraper
This ultra-skinny 91-story skyscraper in NYC has the most gorgeous residences inside. Think opulent lobbies decked out in limestone, marble, blackened steel and velvet, floors paved in smoke-gray solid oak and original artworks by Picasso and Matisse. The interiors were designed to evoke the grandeur of New York’s Gilded Age.

Ski Glamour This Winter
The snow is here and it’s ski time! Whether you’re a skier or just there for the aprés and scenery, this list of resorts — from the Rockies to the Alps —will not disappoint.

France and the Center of the Wine World
France will have to fight smart to keep the outsized share of spoils it has long enjoyed. Things are getting crowded with other major players as well as some emerging ones, and the changing landscape has consumers looking for more progressive-minded wine companies.

Oven-Cooked Bacon
The oven is still my favorite way to cook bacon. I top one or two rimmed baking sheet pans with sheets of parchment and a row of bacon slices, then bake them at 400°F for 15 minutes. More detail at the link.
