All About the Upcoming Prime Big Deal Days

Amazon’s October Prime Day sale starts this week. They are calling it Prime Big Deal Days, and it’s going to take place on starting at 3 a.m. eastern on Tuesday, October 10th and Wednesday, October 11th. Only one caveat—you do have to be a Prime member to shop.

All deals aren’t announced yet, but according to Amazon, the 48-hour sale is set to have huge scores from popular brands like Dyson, Sony, Peloton, Casper, Apple and Theragun. There are also a lot of personal care and beauty products featured like Olay, Elemis, Living Proof, Nuface, and Hot Tools. I like the women’s Amazon clothing brand “The Drop,” and that promises to be on sale, too.

Amazon is aiming to make it easier to find the products you want with more personalized deals based on your saved lists, browsing history and prior purchases. If you click on your landing page, you should see some of those personalized suggestions, already. I had a tough time shopping the sale in the past, but am more encouraged this time given what I’m seeing in my feed!

How to Find the Best Prime Big Deal Days Deals

You’ll want to bookmark the Amazon Deals Page, where all the items included in the sale should appear. Be sure to check early and often on the big day; the deals will likely sell out quickly, but new deals will likely be added throughout the sale event.

You’ll also find Amazon’s famed Lightning Deals here. Lighting deals come and go so unless you have a good bit of time to dedicate here, it’s really the luck of when you look.

Great Amazon Deals You Can Shop Early (like now!)

Amazon has starting releasing some deals early. Here are my early-release picks!

Ring Video Doorbell – Wired

If you don’t have this already, it’s a life changer. It allows you to see who is at your door so you don’t miss the delivery guy but you DO miss the door-to-door-salesman!

These are great because you can hook them up to your Alexa and then turn off and on your devices with a simple voice command.

For slicing perfectly even and pretty portions. When presentation matters, this is. the best.

My go-to daily body butter. This is super-moisturizing and something you can feel good about—free from parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances or preservatives.

FSA Approved Toiletry Bags

An easy gift that complies with TSA 3-1-1 liquid rules. This would be fun to pair with travel size beauty picks.

Breville Espresso Machines

We got a Breville Espresso machine last year around this time and have used it every single day. Once you introduce daily cappucinos, it’s hard to go back! The one we got is the Breville Barista Express which is the easiest to use.

Slow Cookers

It’s no secret I love a slow cooker for soups in the fall and winter. There are a bunch of great options on sale ahead of Prime Day, and I’ll link here to the one I have.

The Kindle Scribe is the newest kindle with a digital pen that allows for notetaking while you’re reading. You can then send your handwritten notebooks as text via email. Pretty cool.
