The Acrylic Edit

I love the aesthetic of acrylic — perfect for when you want to lighten the feel of your home!

Acrylic got popular in the 1960s, and now is embraced by many contemporary designers and brands. I love the aesthetic of acrylic. It makes it so easy to add pieces without adding bulk to a room—especially as spring and summer has me contemplating how to lighten the feel of my home.

In addition, acrylic furniture products are very sturdy, easy to clean and UV resistant — they don’t fade when left in the sun. They’re also non-toxic and thus less harmful to the environment than plastic products.

Here are some acrylic pieces I am loving.
