The Home Organizer Edit

My picks for a clean start at home!

I don’t know about you all, but I get a major itch to purge and organize every time New Year’s rolls around. I am sharing a few things I recently bought or use in my home to keep things in order. Happy organizing!

Drop-Front Shoe Box

This is my newest purchase! I thought these would keep my shoes from getting dusty. I am loving the clean look of them all lined up in my closet.

Felt Hangers

If you haven’t yet streamlined your hangers to a single type in your closet, it’s a game-changer for giving the closet an overall clean look. I use these beige felt ones, which also minimize space.

Weathertight Clear Tote

I am working on minimizing what’s in my attic — and for what needs to stay, converting to these storage boxes where I can see what’s inside. I find that the 62 qt and 74 qt are the best for attic storage. They are large and stack on top of each other perfectly.

Refrigerator Snack Organizer

For any loose ends in your fridge or pantry… I keep protein bars and other snacks in mine. The compartments keep everything together and tidy.

Tiered Refrigerator Snack Organizer

Similar to the above, but tiered for easy viewing of different sized items.

Under Sink Rollout Organizer

I put this under my sink to keep cleaners and extra sponges nearby. It’s a perfect size for a few bottles and loose ends.

Tea Bag Caddy

This has been a really amazing buy — so much cleaner than looking at a bunch of half-empty tea boxes! I have a couple of these lined up together in my pantry and my teas are easy to see and grab.

Water Bottle Organizer

This is something I never thought I’d need, but it does a great job of fitting a bunch of water bottles in a small space and keeping them all visible, so you can grab and go.

Drawer Dividers

A great way to add purposeful space to your drawers without trying to get those pre-made organizers to fit perfectly (which they never do!). These adjust to fit, and come in a few different colors, too.

Expandable Cookware Organizer

This is great for cookware, and I also use a second one for keeping serving plates and platters organized and upright in my cabinet.

OXO Pop Top Containers

These are an oldie but a goodie! Everything in my pantry is containers like these so I can see it and use it. The pop tops do a good job of keeping things fresh.

Big Basket

Love an oversize basket! This is great for storing blankets and pillows, and pertty enough to leave out.

Cable Clip Organizer

I recently bought one of these to keep my cords from slipping off my desk when no device was plugged into them. This is small enough that you don’t see it much, but it keeps everything in line.

Gift Wrap Box

The picture says it all! Perfectly-sized for gift wrap. I have one for regular gift wrap, and a few for holiday rolls.

Montauk Bin

These bins are the ones I use for bags and accessories in my closet. They are fabric-lined and have a great clean look.

Label Maker

If you haven’t taken the plunge, do it! This is a life-changer once you get in the habit!

Happy New Year to everyone!
