Happy Sunday! Here’s this week’s Sunday Seven in wine, food, lifestyle, design and travel.
Portuguese wines are some of the most exciting, and of the best value, in the world. Portugal is also very high on my “must-visit” list! Here’s a list of 15 wines to try from Portuguese wine regions.
For your literary journey! I’m always looking for a good new book so I wanted to pass this list along – this continues to be updated as we head into the end of the year…
Cruises for travelers who prefer more-sophisticated and intimately proportioned sea voyages – I can get on board with that! Small, chic, and sometimes shockingly pricey ships are drifting onto the scene, luring upscale travelers who crave the sea but not the crowds.
In a country with no mountains, Copenhagen turned its eco-friendly CopenHill power plant into a ski slope for the masses. The 1,476-foot-long slope is made from a material called neveplast that looks green but can be skiied upon like real snow year-round.
We have been lucky to have four good vintages in a row, with 2015-2018 all being strong harvests from Beaujolais. This mean great prices and more for those of us who buy and drink this varietal!
A destination in itself! Above, an aerial view of the gorgeous all-new, Zaha Hadid–designed Beijing Daxing International Airport, a final project before her sudden death. After five years of construction, this is now the world’s largest single structured airport.
Opening soon in midtown Manhattan, one of the largest, most ambitious projects in the Nordstrom’s 118-year history – a seven-story women’s store on West 57th Street. You know how much I love Nordstrom, so I am looking forward to visiting this one!
Hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing rest of your weekend!
