The Perfect Food Day in Greenville, SC

A vibrant town full of music, art, and lots of great food and drink stops. More from our one-day itinerary.

Local travel is all the rage during quarantine, right?! I recently took a super-quick trip to Greenville with a few girlfriends and it exceeded expectations. Greenville is a beautiful, vibrant town full of music, art, and lots of great food and drink stops — which is what we were there for. Our one-day itinerary is below.

11:30 am @ Passerelle

We kicked off our trip with alfresco Mimosas and Sancerre to start the day!

The BEST fries – crispy and salty, with a side of homemade remoulade

1:30 pm @ Northampton Wine

Our next stop was this amazing little wine shop. We had wine inside at Northampton – although there were very few people there – perfect for distancing.

4 pm @ Jianna

At Jianna, we also pretty much had the place to ourselves since it was 4 pm.

Oysters to start
This whipped ricotta was to die for!
Pan-seared Tile Fish Tossed with Cauliflower, Tomato & Eggplant

6:30 pm @ The Anchorage

After a quick little stop at the hotel, we hit the Anchorage, which did not disappoint.

Burrata, Marinated Squash, Olive, Mint, Parsley, Basil
Grilled Cantaloupe, Little Gem, Goat’s Milk Feta, Green Coriander, Black Lime
Local Peach & Tomato Panzanella, Cornbread, Ricotta, Grilled Corn, Blue Basil, Sherry

9 pm @ Vault and Vator

Last but not least, a nightcap at Vault and Vator (and we may or may not have stopped for ice cream on the way)

French 75 – Gin, Lemon, Simple syrup, Bubbles

There were some other places we wanted to try, but didn’t make it to, due to time. Trappe Door and On the Roof are on tap for the next visit!

After that day, we just went home and passed out. We stayed in a suite in this hotel which was new and nice. And thank goodness for the yummy hangover breakfast hosted by my friend, Jen.

If you have other good spots for my next visit, let me know!
