Beyond St. Tropez, Nice, and Cannes, these quieter Riviera villages deliver colorful streets, seaside cafés, and the same Mediterranean magic — just without so many crowds. We visited most of these last summer, and they were some of our favorite stops!

The results of the 2026 Decanter World Wine Awards are in, recognizing just 50 “Best in Show” wines from nearly 17,000 entries. While France and Italy continued their dominance, some of the biggest stories came from rising regions, including England’s sparkling wines!. Other winners included Croatia, Switzerland, and Greece.
