Happy Sunday! Here’s my latest roundup in wine, food, lifestyle, design and travel.

Kardashian Home Tour
If you haven’t seen Kim and Kayne’s house, you have to click through. I love minimal design, just as much if not more than the next person, but this takes it to the next level. There are literally no things around!

Float the Night Away
As Qatar prepares to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, it is doubling the number of hotel rooms and guest apartments in the country to help accommodate the influx of fans by building floating rooms. Cool idea.

Unique Uses for Your Slow-Cooker
You know my love for slow cooker soup runs deep! If you are a slow cooker fan, here are some other underutilized uses – like smoked meats, double dips, and even as a scent source.

Central Coast Wines
Wines from the Central Coast are some of my favorites. A recommendation of bottles in the $25-$40 range from Paso Robles and Santa Barbara County is at the link. We have an upcoming trip to Paso in a few months that I can’t wait for!

America’s Top Food Destination
Yelp often takes user reviews and turns them into data. They looked at U.S. cities that had the highest food ratings from visitors, as well as which restaurants and businesses in those cities the customers were loving. In the end, Asheville, NC came out on top!

Sleep Like You Would in a Five-star Hotel
Tips for recreating that comfy hotel sleeping experience at home. The one I found the most interesting was that many hotels use an oversized flat sheet in place of a fitted sheet for the smoothest sleeping surface possible. I’ve always noticed that, yet never wondered why!

Palm Century Midcentury Beauty for Rent!
This 1950s Palm Desert icon will be available for vacation rental this spring! Nicknamed The Wave House for its undulating roof – the city sweetened the deal to restore this house versus knocking it down by offering $50,000 towards restoration costs.
Cheers to a wonderful and relaxing rest of your weekend!
